Bangladeš (Бангладеш) is a suburban settlement near Novi Sad, Serbia. It is situated between Novi Sad and the village of Rumenka.
Population
Bangladeš is populated by about 250 ethnic Romani. According to another source, Bangladeš is populated by 233 inhabitants, who live in 55 families.
Name
The settlement's name is the Serbian name for the South Asian nation of Bangladesh. The name has a connection with the Romani peoples origin in South Asia, particularly from India.
