Bang Minah (born May 13, 1993; Hangul: 방민아), better known by her stage name Minah (Hangul: 민아), is a South Korean idol singer. She is best known as a main vocalist of the girl group, Girl's Day under Dream Tea Entertainment.
Biography
Minah was born on May 13, 1993, in Seoul, South Korea. She attended JinSun Girls High School and is currently attending Dongduk Women's University in the broadcasting department with Girl's Day member Yura.
Career
Girl's Day
In July 27 2010, Minah made her debut as a member of Girl's Day on KBS Music Bank with their debut single, Tilt My Head.[1] Girl's Day has released 2 full album and 3 EPs in total.
Solo Career
On November 4, 2010 was revealed that Minah has been casted for Korea's first 3-D dance movie, "Performer"! "Performer" will revolve around hip hop dance, and has been referred to as the 'Korean version' of America's highly-popular 'Step Up' series. Minah is slotted to play a female breakdancer who is also a bit of a bad student. Filming begins at the end of November and producer Choi Young Il, who has worked in both Korea and the States, will oversee the production. [2]
On January 29, 2011 was revealed that Minah will be making her acting debut on tvN's "Roller Coaster," she will be appearing in the new corner, "Frustrated, but Let's Stick Together."[3]
Minah acted as the lead actress of the movie 'Holly' as Wani, the movie was released in 2013.
On July 31st, 2013 her agency announced that Minah had been chosen as MC of Inkigayo. [4]
On January 26th, 2014 she stepped down as one of the MC's of Inkigayo.
