Bandi Atai Khan (also known as Banda Attai Khan) is one of the 51 union councils of Abbottabad District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.[1]

Location

Bandi Atai Khan is situated in the south of the district at 34°02'60"N, 73°13'0"E, it has an average elevation of 1035 metres (3398 feet).[2]

History

Jadoon (Malikhail) people are inhabitants of Bandi Attai Khan. People of this area are well known for their bravery and very hostile nature.They are the descendants of Misaal Khan who migrated from Gandhaf,Gadoon. Village is named after Attai Khan who was a great man and also fought against British during British ruling.

Mosque

There is a very beautiful central mosque and a small madraash.

Schools

There is a high school for girls and a separate high school for boys.
