Bandaru Dattatreya (born 26 February 1947) is an Indian politician. He was the president of the Andhra Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is succeeded as president by Kishan Reddy. He has been elected thrice as member of parliament from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency in India and was a Union Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government.[1]
Career
Bandaru Dattatreya started his career with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He was a pracharak before joining the BJP.
He was elected to the Parliament from Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency in the years 1991, 1998 and 1999.
