Bamna (Bengali: বামনা) is an Upazila of Barguna District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh.
Geography
Bamna is located at 22°18′05″N 90°06′00″E / 22.3014°N 90.1000°E . It has 12713 units of house hold and total area 101.05 km².
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Bamna has a population of 65965. Males constitute 49.64% of the population, and females 50.36%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 33808. Bamna has an average literacy rate of 46.5% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
