Balule Nature Reserve

Balule Nature Reserve is situated next door to the Kruger Park, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Southwest of Phalaborwa, and north of Hoedspruit. It is without fences between the two parks, although it is privately owned, and is about 35.000 Ha in area (The area seems to extent every time, as more landowners join the initiative and become incorporated). The perennial Olifants River (English: Elephant's River) flowing for approximately 20 km through the centre of the reserve. The reserve is build up out of a number of other parks, these include:
- Greater Olifants River Conservancy
- Olifants West Game Reserve
- York Game Reserve
- Parsons Game Reserve
- Olifants North Game Reserve
- Grietjie Game Reserve.
Wildlife
Include: the Big Five Game: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and the Rhinoceros.
