Balrampur district is a district of Chhattisgarh, India, with headquarters in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh. The Balrampur district lies on the northern part of Chhattisgarh state. The district is bound on north and northeast of its parent district namely Surguja district.

The total area of the district is approximately 3806.08 km2. The district has six block divisions which are Balrampur, Rajpur, Shankargarh, Kusmi, Ramchandarpur and Wadrafnagar.[1]
