Baliny is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 4.88 square kilometres (1.88 sq mi), and has a population of 112 (as at 3 July 2006).
Baliny lies approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) south of Žďár nad Sázavou, 28 km (17 mi) east of Jihlava, and 139 km (86 mi) south-east of Prague.
