Baileyville, Kansas

Baileyville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in western Nemaha County, Kansas, United States. It is located six miles west of Seneca on U.S. Route 36.

History

Baileyville was founded as "Haytown"; it was renamed to honor future Kansas governor Willis J. Bailey.[1]

Transportation

The town is served by the Union Pacific Railroad.
