Bai Jing (Chinese: 白静; pinyin: Bái Jìng) (4 July 1983 – 28 February 2012) was a Chinese actress best known for her role in the film Kung Fu Wing Chun (2010) which she became the successor to the character played by Michelle Yeoh.[1] She was a student of Ip Chun.

Death

On 28 February 2012 Bai Jing was murdered by her husband Zhou Chenghai, who took his own life shortly after the murder. The couple met in 2004 when Zhou was still married to another woman with whom he had a son.[2][3][4][5] Bai Jing had been cheating on her husband with Qiao Yu (now in jail) who had conned her husband out of 9.6 million rmb and an Audi A8.[6]

She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama.
