Bae Youn-joo (Hangul: 배연주) (born October 26, 1990 in Masan, Gyeongsangnam-do) is an internationally elite badminton player from South Korea.[3]

Bae first gained international attention in 2006 when she reached the semifinals in the women's singles and won the gold medal as a member of the South Korean mixed team at the BWF World Junior Championships.

Bae joined the South Korea national team in 2007 and won her first national title in 2009. 2008 she won the Indonesia International.
