Badhagachhi is a census town in Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is under Balagarh police station in Chinsurah subdivision.[1]

Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Badhagachhi had a population of 4718. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Badhagachhi has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 54% of the males and 46% of females literate. 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
