Plot

Sarah and Josh have been trying to become pregnant for eight years. Now Josh does not want to keep trying, and Sarah believes it is because he is having an affair with Hannah, an attractive lady reporter. Sarah lures Hannah to Josh and her home, and holds Hannah hostage at knifepoint. When the SRU is called in, Greg takes control of tactical and allows Sam to be in charge of negotiations. When the situation escalates Sarah ends up stabbed. Some team members believe that the end result was caused by Sam's refusal to allow a team to storm Sarah and Hannah. Despite the possibility, Greg insists that it was Sam's call, and stands by his decision.

Sam spends the night at Jules' house, and she insists on going lengths to ensure that no one else on the team finds out. When Jules and Sam publicly disagreed on Sam's decision during the negotiation, they both agree that they had been going too fast. The episode ends with them both going to Jules' house to paint.
