Babna Brda is a settlement in the Šmarje pri Jelšah municipality in eastern Slovenia. It lies in the Kozjansko area in the hills to the south of Šmarje. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja statistical region.[2]
