Babken Arakelyan

Babken Nikolayi Arakelyan (Armenian Բաբկեն Նիկոլայի Առաքելյան; Russian Бабкен Николаевич Аракелян; born Mrgashat 1 February 1912-16 August 2004) was an Armenian historian and archeologist.

In 1938 he graduated from Yerevan State University. He was a professor and a member of Armenian Academy of Sciences and was awarded the State prizes of Armenia (1978, 1986).[1]
