Břežany is a village and municipality (obec) in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 16.42 square kilometres (6.34 sq mi), and has a population of 929 (as at 2005).
Břežany lies approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) east of Znojmo, 42 km (26 mi) south-west of Brno, and 194 km (121 mi) south-east of Prague.
