Bømlo (island)

Bømlo or Bømmeløy is the largest island in the municipality Bømlo in Norway. It covers 171 square kilometers (66 sq mi); which is divided in two by the Kulleseid Canal. Settlements include Svortland, Rubbestadneset, Foldrøyhamn, Langevåg and Melandsvågen. The island is connected with bridges to other islands in the municipality, such as Moster, Goddo, Hiskjo, Aga and Spissøy.
