As-Suwayda District

As-Suwayda (Arabic: السويداء As Suwaidā) is a Syrian district (mantiqah) administratively belonging to As-Suwayda Governorate. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 180,907. Its administrative centre is the city of As-Suwayda.
Divisions
The district of As-Suwayda is divided into 3 sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):
- As-Suwayda nahiyah (ناحية مركز السويداء): population 212,463.[1]
- Al-Mazraa nahiyah (ناحية المزرعة): population 16,627.[2]
- Al-Mushannaf nahiyah (ناحية المشنف): population 17,134.[3]
