Art Turner is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives who serves as a representative for the 9th district.[1] The district he represents includes part of the community areas of the Near West Side, the Near North Side and North Lawndale.[2]
He is currently assigned to the committees for the Judiciary and Revenue and Finance. He is also the chair of the Sex Offenses Subcommittee. He is also an Assistant Majority Leader.[1]
