Armeno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 100 km northeast of Turin and about 45 km northwest of Novara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,229 and an area of 31.6 km².[1]

The municipality of Armeno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sovazza, Coiromonte, Bàssola and Chéggino.

Armeno borders the following municipalities: Ameno, Brovello-Carpugnino (VB), Colazza, Gignese (VB), Massino Visconti, Miasino, Nebbiuno, Omegna (VB), Pettenasco and Pisano.
