Ariyur is a locality in Vellore City in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. A world famous Sripuram golden temple is located in this area.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Ariyur had a population of 5429. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Ariyur has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 82% of the males and 69% of females literate. 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
