Anaikkadu is a village in the Pattukkottai taluk of Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India.

Anaikkadu "Uravin Murai Sangam" an association started with just 80 families away back in 1984, has now become a well organized and spectacular one consisting of more than 1300 families in its register.

An association in Singapore "Anaikkadu White Cross" was started with 25 people working in Singapore in January 2008 with an aim of developing this village in all aspects. Renowned and respected leaders like Periyar E.V. Ramasamy (EVR), Annadurai, Kalignar Karunanithi, K.Veeramani, S.D.Somasunadaram, Nedunchezian, actor M.R. Radha have all visited the House of Mr. "D.V. DAVIS" at Anaikkadu. E.V.R Periyar had stayed almost 6 months at Davis residence. Mr. D.V. Davis was a senior political analyst and front line leader of Dravida Kazhagam and a close associate of EVR Periyar. He was also the first Panchayat president of Anaikkadu. Residents and relatives of Anaikkadu are spread all over the Globe. You can meet them in Dubai, Abu-dhabi, Sharjah, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, USA, Europe and Africa. Demographics

As per the 2001 census, Anaikkadu had a total population of 2757 with 1356 males and 1401 females. The sex ratio was 1033. The literacy rate was 76.97.
