Alta Dena, founded in 1945, is a dairy located in the City of Industry, California.

History

Alta Dena Dairy was founded in 1945 by the Stueve family. It earned the "Certified Dairy" status in 1953 from the American Association of Milk Commissions. In 1999, Dean Foods Company acquired Alta Dena.[1] They also produce kefir, as well as the chocolate milk brand TruMoo.

Drive-Thru dairies

The first Drive-Thru Dairy was opened on 1951. Currently there are around 100 Alta Dena dairy product stores, many of them Drive-Thrus.[2]

Home delivery

Alta Dena delivers dairy products to 30,000 customers,[2] including the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
