Alireza Alavitabar is an Iranian political scientist and a leading reformist intellectual and writer.[1]

Alireza Alavitabar is a member of Islamic Iran Participation Front and was the editor of the now closed Sobh-e-Emrooz newspaper.[2]

He was of the main thinkers in the Iranian reform movement during Khatami's presidency.[1]
