Algy Ward

Alasdair Mackie "Algy" Ward (born 11 July 1959, in Croydon, Surrey) is an English rock and roll bass guitarist and singer.^[1]

Biography

He was first active as a member of the Australian punk band The Saints (playing on their second and third albums Eternally Yours and Prehistoric Sounds) before joining British group The Damned and playing on Machine Gun Etiquette (1979). He also plays on Live at the Moonlight Club (The School Bullies).

Ward founded and still fronts the seminal New Wave of British Heavy Metal outfit Tank He has a brand new album out entitled BREATH OF THE PIT which is full on,all out FILTH HOUNDS. Algy and his less-famous brother Iain (a roadie with The Saints, Motörhead, The Undertones and The Ramones for years) both now live in Kent.
