Algus Greenspon Gallery
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Algus Greenspon opened in September 2010 in the West Village of New York, representing a partnership between Mitchell Algus and Amy Greenspon. Algus had run his own gallery in New York since 1992 and is widely recognized by museums and the press for curating provocative and original historical shows.[citation needed] Greenspon ran her own art advisory service for the last 5 years and served as a director of Marianne Boesky Gallery. The new gallery builds on the Algus Gallery's program and Greenspon expands this in presenting important emerging artists, as well as museum quality exhibitions.
