Plot
The story of three women living alone in the desert, but a day they are visited by a young handsome man…
Critic
The Shepherd and the Women was the Souad Hosni ‘s final screen appearance. The film essentially was the beginning of the end for Hosni. While it neither lost money nor was attacked, in fact it was critically acclaimed it showed a tired and aging Souad Hosni, not the actress everyone remembered. Hosni didn’t relish appearing as a washed up Cinderella next to the relatively young and healthy Youssra.
