Ahmadpur Taluka

Ahmadpur Taluka is a taluka, administrative subdivision, of Latur District in Maharashtra, India.[1] The administrative center for the taluka is the town of Ahmadpur. In the 2011 census there were ninety-seven panchayat villages in Ahmadpur Taluka.[2]
History
Ahmadpur Taluka was formerly part of Hyderabad State, and later Osmanabad District of Maharashtra, before the creation of Latur District.
Geography
Ahmadpur Taluka is set in the Balaghat Hills.
