Agatsuma District, Gunma

Agatsuma (吾妻郡 Agatsuma-gun) is a district located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
As of July 1, 2011, the district has an estimated population of 60,253 and a population density of 47.1 persons per km². The total area is 1,278.27 km².

Mergers
- On March 27, 2006 the town of Agatsuma, and the village of Azuma were merged to form the new town of Higashiagatsuma.
