Afton is an unincorporated community in Albemarle and Nelson counties in the U.S. State of Virginia. It is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains about 20 miles (32 km) west of Charlottesville.[3]

Afton is home to the Blue Mountain Brewery.
