Abdilatif Abdalla

Abdilatif Abdalla (Mombasa 1946) is a Kenyan writer and politician.

He worked in Mombasa Council and after his publication of a pamphlet where he was critical with the government, he was imprisoned for conspiracy between 1969 and 1972. He later worked as a Swahili language at the University of Dar es Salaam (1972–1979) and collaborated editing a Swahili dictionary. He also worked for BBC Swahili department (1979–1985) and as a Swahili teacher in London and Leipzig.
