7.30 is an Australian nightly television current affairs programme ABC1 and ABC News 24 at 7.30pm, Monday to Friday. A national edition screens from Monday to Thursday, produced at the ABN studios in Ultimo, Sydney and hosted by Leigh Sales. A local edition with a focus on state affairs screens on Friday. However, when a big state political event happens, the national program can be pre-empted by the local edition.[1]

The program first aired on 7 March 2011, replacing both The 7.30 Report and Stateline.

Four Corners reporter Sarah Ferguson is currently filling in for Leigh Sales whilst she is on maternity leave

Tracey Bowden and Annabel Crabb are fill-in presenters.

State editions

On Friday nights, state editions of 7.30 are broadcast on ABC1 on at 7:30 pm, with eight separate state and territory specific editions. Each local version of 7.30 is also broadcast nationally on ABC News 24 over the weekend.
