6834 Hunfeld

6834 Hunfeld (provisional designation: 1993 JH) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Yoshisada Shimizu and Takeshi Urata at the Nachi-Katsuura Observatory in Nachikatsuura, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, on May 11, 1993. It is named after Jan Hunfeld, a Dutch journalist whose weekly science page in the Meppeler Courant (based in Meppel) included activities of the Royal Dutch amateur astronomy society.
