6789 Milkey

6789 Milkey is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1305.8150228 days (3.58 years).^[1]

The asteroid was discovered on September 4, 1991, by Eleanor F. Helin and received the provisional designation (6789) 1991 RM₆ (previous apparitions were 1982 BC₁₃ and 1989 AT₉). It was named on June 13, 2006, after Robert Milkey, American executive officer of the American Astronomical Society, 1995–2006.
