5F-PB-22 or 1-(5-fluoropentyl)-1H-indole-3-carboxylic acid 8-quinolinyl ester is a designer drug and a possible cannabinoid agonist. The structure of 5F-PB-22 appears to utilise an understanding of structure-activity relationships within the indole class of cannabimimetics, although its design origins are unclear. 5F-PB-22 represents a structurally unique synthetic cannabinoid chemotype, since it contains an ester linker at the indole 3-position, rather than the precedented ketone of JWH-018 and its analogues, or the amide of SDB-001 and its analogues. 5F-PB-22 is the terminally fluorinated analogue of QUPIC (also known as PB-22), just as AM-2201 is the similarly fluorinated analogue of JWH-018. No information regarding the in vitro or in vivo activity of 5F-PB-22 has been published, and only anecdotal reports are known of its pharmacology in humans or other animals.

Detection
