5427 Jensmartin (1986 JQ) is an inner main-belt asteroid discovered on May 13, 1986 by P. Jensen at Brorfelde. The asteroid is named after the late Jens Martin Knudsen, famous Danish astrophysicist and Mars researcher, who has been pivotal in utilizing Mössbauer spectroscopy to study the magnetic properties of the sands of Mars.
