50PLUS is a Dutch political party. The party was founded in 2009 by Maurice Koopman, Alexander Münninghoff, and Jan Nagel, a politician formerly connected to the Labour Party and Leefbaar Nederland. Nagel is the Party Chair and Henk Krol Vice Chair.
The party first participated in elections during the 2011 provincial elections. During these elections the party obtained 9 seats in the States-Provincial. In the 2011 Dutch Senate elections the members of the States-Provincial elected the members of the new Senate. During these elections, the party won one seat in the Senate. During the Dutch general election of 2012 the Party obtained 2 seats.

Note: Because parliamentary leader Henk Krol left the party on October 4, 2013, Norbert Klein was chosen as interim-leader while the third candidate on the 50PLUS-list for the 2012 elections Martine Baay-Timmerman entered the House of Representatives because of the event
