The 45th Filmfare Awards were held on February 13, 2000, in Mumbai, India. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was the big winner. Sanjay Dutt won his first ever Best Actor award for his powerhouse performance in Vaastav.
