42516 Oistrach (1993 VH5) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on November 11, 1993 by F. Borngen at Tautenburg dedicated to world class violinists David Oistrakh and Igor Oistrakh . Note that whilst the accepted transliteration of the name of the dedicatee is "Oistrakh" it appears that this is unfortunately not the form that was used to name the asteroid.
