40684 Vanhoeck

40684 Vanhoeck (provisional designation: 1999 RE214) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Thierry Pauwels at the Royal Observatory of Belgium in Uccle, Belgium, on September 8, 1999. It is named after Luc Vanhoeck, a Belgian amateur astronomer.
