2845 Franklinken (1981 OF) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on July 26, 1981 by Bowell, E. at the Anderson Mesa Station of Flagstaff (AM). This asteroid is named for Dr. Kenneth Linn Franklin, a member of the staff of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City, and co-discoverer in 1955 of the radio noise coming from the planet Jupiter.
