27658 Dmitrijbagalej (provisional designation: 1978 RV) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Nikolai Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory near Nauchnyj, Ukraine, on September 1, 1978. It is named after Dmitrij Ivanovich Bagalej, a 19th- and 20th-century historian who was professor at Kharkiv University.
