2698 Azerbajdzhan

2698 Azerbajdzhan is a small main belt asteroid, which was discovered by astronomers at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in 1971.[1] It is named after the Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan (now the independent Republic of Azerbaijan).
