The 2014 Foxtel Cup will be the fourth season of the Australian rules football knock-out cup competition involving clubs from the various state league competitions from around Australia.

The Cup's purpose is to support and promote the second-tier Australian rules football competitions and to provide another way of developing lower-tier Australian Football League (AFL) players.

The format of the competition will be as follows:

  • Nine teams will be competing.
  • With the exception of the pre-qualifying round, matches will be played on Tuesday nights as stand alone games and be broadcast by Fox Footy.
  • The prizemoney will be $100,000.

The top two sides from Western Australia (East Perth and West Perth) will join Norwood and reigning Foxtel Cup champions West Adelaide from South Australia,[1] Box Hill Hawks and Williamstown from Victoria, and Tasmanian representative Prospect State,[2] as participants in the 2014 Foxtel Cup.[3] North East Australian Football League qualifiers, Aspley and Belconnen, will compete against each other in Round 1 of the 2014 NEAFL competition which will act as a pre-qualifying round, with the winner to meet Williamstown in round 1 of the Foxtel Cup.[4]

The competition will began in April 2014 and conclude with the Grand Final on 22 July 2014.
