The Football League 2013–14, is the 114th season of the Football League. It will begin on 3 August 2013 and will conclude on 3 May 2014, with the promotion play-off finals at Wembley Stadium on 24–26 May 2014.[1] The Football League is contested through three Divisions. The divisions are the Championship, League One and League Two. The winner and the runner up of the League Championship will be automatically promoted to the Premier League and they will be joined by the winner of the Championship playoff. The bottom two teams in League Two will be relegated to the Conference National.

This season is the first in a five-year sponsorship agreement with betting company Sky Bet. As a result of this deal, the three Football League divisions will be referred to as "The Sky Bet Championship", "Sky Bet League One" and "Sky Bet League Two".[2]
