1985 LPGA Championship

The 1985 LPGA Championship was played at Jack Nicklaus Golf Center in Mason, Ohio. This was the 31st edition of the LPGA Championship and was played from May 30 – June 2.
This championship was won by Nancy Lopez. Lopez led the tournament wire to wire. She shot a first round 65 despite being assessed a two-stroke penalty for slow play.[1]
