1974–75 2. Bundesliga
The 1974/75 season was the inaugural season of the newly created 2. Bundesliga. It was split into two divisions, North and South. The champions of each division won promotion to the Bundesliga while the second placed teams entered a play-off. The bottom four teams of each division were relegated.
