1970 LPGA Championship

The 1970 LPGA Championship was played at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, Massachusetts. This was the 16th edition of the LPGA Championship and was played from June 12-16.
This championship was won by Shirley Englehorn in an 18-hole playoff over Kathy Whitworth, 74 to 78.
