1850 Kohoutek (1942 EN) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 23, 1942 by K. Reinmuth at Heidelberg. Since the discovery was on march 23, the designation EN is erroneous. It should have been F, but the incorrect designation which was initially used has stuck.
