15246 Kumeta

15246 Kumeta (provisional designation: 1989 VS1) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Kin Endate and Kazuro Watanabe at the Kitami Observatory in Hokkaidō, Japan, on November 2, 1989. It is named after Yasutaka Kumeta, a Japanese amateur astronomer.
